Co-founder Stephanie Melito and experienced food entrepreneur Norm Haskins have teamed up to serve hearty breakfast favorites, satisfying lunches, and an irresistible selection of handmade baked goods.

What truly sets our menu apart is our direct connection to Cole Mountain Farm, where co-founder Steve Melito supplies our kitchen with many of its fresh, seasonal ingredients grown using natural, regenerative practices. From our famous homemade fudge and signature whoopie pies to our crisp, farm-fresh lunch specials, everything we create reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and the joy of good food.

What Sets Us Apart

Soil-to-Plate Traceability

Unlike restaurants that rely on broadline commercial distributors, Cole Mountain Cafe has a direct line to its own 25-acre family operation, Cole Mountain Farm, and also sources other ingredients from local producers. 

The farm strictly practices regenerative agriculture, meaning that all the fresh ingredients it supplies to the cafe are grown completely free of chemical herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. Other ingredients are procured locally and are as organic as possible.

This commitment to conservation and soil health translates directly to cleaner, more vibrant flavors on the plate.

Beyond traditional breakfast and lunch café fare, the establishment features an extensive, established line of made-from-scratch baked goods.
